What is your preferred method of contact? (provide a brief description and how often you prefer to communicate) Phone First, than Email, as sometimes my SPAM filter gets some emails, I'll never see. I'm online 10-12 hours per day, email me whenever you wish. 2. How do you like the deal to work from the beginning? Do you prefer the other recruiter contact your candidate first or do you prefer to do that yourself? I prefer to contact the candidate first, make the introduction and then the other recruiter is free to communicate with the candidate. 3. What is your personal protocol on reference checking? (provide a brief description of when, how, and whom(you or the TE partner) I reference check one or two references prior to an interview, and one more at the offer stage. I ask a list of questions, type them and will be happy to provide them to the other recruiter and the hiring official. It is my company policy that ALL clients check at least one reference on their own of a candidate they intend to make an offer to. The TE partner is more than welcome to check the references at any time, especially if I have not yet gotten to the task. 4. What kind of fees do you work? (average percentage, flat, or variable and why) 25-30% of the annual salary, however there are the select clients that have grinded me down to 20%. 5. Do you handle retained searches, contingency, contract, or a mix? (provide some detail) Both Contingency and Retained and a combination of the two: Contained, which is a flat fee up front, say $5,000.00 and they get most of the benefits of a retained search.
